Shiba Inu (SHIB) team recently joined forces with Bitrue to provide insights into Shibarium’s capabilities, emphasizing its contribution to redu SHIB’s circulating supply and welcoming other crypto projects to the Shiba Inu ecosystem. This event signifies another step in the expansion of Shiba Inu’s ever-growing ecosystem.
In the hour-long AMA session, Ragnar Shib, a community admin for Shiba Inu, shed light on Shibarium’s potential and the ways in which the L2 blockchain enhances transaction processing.
Emphasizing the convenience it brings, Ragnar explained how Shibarium allows for the integration of other top crypto projects within the Shiba Inu ecosystem. Furthermore, it was discussed that Shibarium plays a key role in the ongoing SHIB burn efforts, which aim to reduce the token’s circulating supply.

Bitrue has been a strong supporter of Shibarium and has demonstrated its commitment through various initiatives. In anticipation of Shibarium’s mainnet launch, Bitrue organized two promotions, giving away a staggering 10.10 billion SHIB. Participants were required to complete specific tasks, including depositing and trading SHIB on the platform within a designated period.
Shibarium, built on the Ethereum network, marks a significant milestone for Shiba Inu ecosystem, as it expands beyond its memecoin roots. Initially proposed by Shiba Inu’s pseudonymous founder Ryoshi in May 2021, Shibarium finally launched on the mainnet on August 16, 2023.
With this launch, Shiba Inu now boasts a comprehensive ecosystem that includes the decentralized exchange ShibaSwap, the blockchain game Shiba Eternity, and the metaverse Shib: The Metaverse.

Despite encountering technical challenges shortly after its mainnet launch, Shibarium has gained widespread adoption since its relaunch on August 28. As evident from Shibariumscan data, the L2 network has successfully completed over 3.17 million transactions, with more than 1.25 million wallets interacting with the network. These figures underscore the growing interest and engagement surrounding Shibarium within the Shiba Inu community.
The AMA session organized by Bitrue provided Shiba Inu community members with valuable insights into the immense potential of Shibarium, highlighting its ability to facilitate transactions and fuel the growth of the Shiba Inu ecosystem.
