ScamDetective also claimed that less than 1% of XRPL activity represented real human payments and said the situation had remained unchanged for eight years. The post concluded by calling the XRP Ledger a “Ghost chain.”

The accompanying Bitquery data provides additional figures on the network. It says the XRP Ledger has processed 5.06 billion transactions since 2013. For August 2026, it reports that 793 accounts generated 93.2% of the network’s traffic.

The data also estimates that only 0.80% of the traffic represented human-scale payments. It further says nearly half of active accounts sent a single transaction before stopping, while the median account held 12 XRP.

David Schwartz Questions the Criticism

$1.48 Remains Key for Confirmation

Cryptoinsightuk identified $1.48 as the level that could provide stronger confirmation of a trend reversal. The analyst said, “If XRP moves above $1.48, you can start to argue that the structure has shifted into an uptrend.”

For now, XRP has broken above a previous high, but Cryptoinsightuk wants to see continuation before calling the trend bullish. A sustained move above $1.48 would therefore become an important development in the current setup.

The analyst also examined liquidity levels that could guide XRP’s next move if the structure continues improving. The first target sits around $1.58, where Cryptoinsightuk identified a small patch of hourly liquidity just above the current price.

Above that area, the analyst identified a larger concentration of liquidity on the daily time frame between $1.70 and $1.85. Cryptoinsightuk said this is where the next move could reach “at minimum” if XRP continues higher.

Macro Conditions Add to the Positive Outlook

Cryptoinsightuk also linked the technical setup to recent comments from Scott Bessent about increased bond purchases. The analyst noted that Bessent discussed potentially increasing purchases by another $2 billion per day, following an earlier $2 billion-per-day increase two weeks before.

Cryptoinsightuk described this development as “another green light and another positive signal for the crypto market.”

The analyst maintained that the current XRP structure remains constructive despite the lack of confirmation for a full uptrend. If XRP clears $1.48 and continues toward the liquidity around $1.58, the $1.70 to $1.85 range could become the next major area of interest.

Market Still Faces Resistance Around $1.45-$1.48

A comment from 76ciology also addressed the current setup. The commenter said XRP does not appear positioned for a major move in either direction yet, noting that quick rebounds from key support levels have pressured short positions while buying pressure remains insufficient to overcome the significant sell wall around $1.45-$1.48.

This resistance area therefore remains important as XRP attempts to establish a sustained bullish structure.

Crypto pundit Digital Perspectives (@DigPerspectives) has declared that Senator Elizabeth Warren has been put in check.

Hunter Biden, son of former President Joe Biden, recently launched a memecoin, and Digital Perspectives pointed out that Warren would now have to go after Biden the same way she has been pursuing Trump.

She now faces a difficult choice. Go after Hunter Biden the same way she went after Trump’s crypto dealings, or stop blocking the CLARITY Act and let the rules do the work. The XRP community is watching closely.

Hunter Biden’s Memecoin

Hunter Biden launched $LAPTOP on September 9. The token crashed 90% within 30 minutes and is down over 99% from its peak. The founding team held 30% of the 1 billion token supply. Early investors took significant losses almost immediately.

Biden had positioned himself publicly as a crypto advocate. He called decentralized digital currency the “inevitable future.” Then his token launched and failed immediately.

The Community Turns on Warren

The reaction across X focused heavily on the political hypocrisy the launch exposed. One commenter said he never thought Hunter Biden would be the one to push the CLARITY Act over the finish line. He said it with apparent disbelief, but the logic holds.

Another made the same point, calling it “insane” that Hunter Biden may have done more for crypto regulation than Warren’s opposition ever could.

One community member addressed Warren directly. He then asked if her actions to block the CLARITY Act simply gave politicians room to operate without rules. His comments suggest that her ethics objections were never genuine.

One market participant took a lighter angle, joking that Hunter Biden might actually be a Trump supporter at heart given the damage the launch caused to Democratic credibility on the crypto ethics argument.

The CLARITY Act Pressure Grows

Democrats have blocked or delayed the CLARITY Act by demanding stronger ethics provisions. Their argument centered on preventing officials from profiting while shaping crypto policy. $LAPTOP’s collapse put that argument under pressure.

The very lack of regulation Democrats cited as a reason to delay the bill created the environment for a launch like $LAPTOP. The White House agreed to include ethics provisions in the bill back in July. Many Democrats were dissatisfied with the amendment, and the bill remains on the Senate calendar with a procedural vote scheduled for September 15.
