]]> Cardano holders may be facing a critical moment as crypto analyst Ali Charts warned that the cryptocurrency could be on the verge of a deeper correction. The analyst urged investors to pay close attention to ADA’s price action, arguing that a key technical pattern has increased the likelihood of further downside movement.

The warning came alongside a video analysis in which Ali Charts outlined what he believes is a bearish setup developing on Cardano’s chart.

According to the analyst, the digital asset spent the first part of the month forming a bearish flag pattern, a technical formation that traders often associate with the continuation of a downward trend.

Ali Charts Identifies Bearish Flag Breakdown

In the video attached to his X post, Ali Charts explained that Cardano’s sharp decline between June 3 and June 6 laid the foundation for the pattern. He noted that the roughly 30% drop during that period created what traders called the “pole” of the bearish flag.

Following that decline, ADA entered a consolidation phase, moving within a relatively narrow range. Ali Charts stated that this period of sideways trading formed the flag portion of the pattern. According to his analysis, the structure suggested that Cardano could be preparing for another leg lower.

The analyst argued that the situation became more concerning after ADA broke a key support level below. He specifically pointed to the loss of the 17-cent level, which he described as an important support zone for the asset.

According to Ali Charts, the breakdown significantly increased the probability of a larger correction. Based on his analysis, Cardano could now be on course to decline toward the 13-cent level if bearish momentum continues to build.

Market Participants React to the Forecast

The analysis quickly attracted reactions from members of the crypto community, with some agreeing that Cardano’s chart remains vulnerable to further downside pressure.

Among the responses was a comment from ARHANT Academic, who suggested that the analyst’s bearish outlook may ultimately prove accurate. However, the commenter projected an even steeper decline than the one outlined by Ali Charts.

“This time, he’s correct in direction at least. But it’ll sail straight past $0.13 and hit nearer to $0.02. Then it’s pretty much game over,” the commenter wrote.

While Ali Charts focused on a potential move toward $0.13, the response highlighted the range of opinions currently surrounding Cardano’s near-term trajectory. For now, traders appear to be watching whether ADA can stabilize after its recent weakness or if the bearish flag breakdown identified by the analyst will lead to the deeper correction he has projected.

Hagerty didn’t mince words on the bill’s purpose. He said the CLARITY Act is taking the crypto space toward “the type of certainty that’s necessary to bring the entire digital asset framework into full-blown opportunity here in America.” He drew a direct line to his own legislative track record, noting that the GENIUS Act, which he authored, brought the U.S. into the digital payments arena.

Hagerty also tied the stablecoin law to the U.S. Dollar’s standing as the reserve currency. He explained the U.S. now has “a reserve digital dollar that’s backed dollar for dollar by short-term U.S. Treasury securities.” From there, he pointed to where digital assets go next.

He said digital assets “have a much more varied use” and added, “We need to get this done. It’s important to get it done. It’s critical to maintain America’s innovation edge.” On timing, Hagerty said the bill will likely garner more attention after the July recess period, and he hopes to see it concluded before the end of July.

The CLARITY Act’s Path So Far

The bill has moved through real institutional checkpoints this year. The Senate Agriculture Committee published its draft of the Digital Commodity Intermediaries Act in January, addressing CFTC authority over digital commodities. The Senate Banking Committee followed with a markup vote on May 14, advancing the bill.

Then, in early June, the bill landed on the Senate Legislative Calendar, putting it in line for a full Senate vote. Each step moves the bill closer to the 60 votes it needs to clear the Senate floor.

Why this is Important for XRP and XLM

XRP and XLM both operate as payment-focused, cross-border digital assets. A clear market structure law removes the regulatory ambiguity that has kept institutional capital on the sidelines. The GENIUS Act opened the door for stablecoins, and CLARITY does the same for the rest of the digital asset market.

That includes assets built for liquidity, and Ripple has spent years positioning XRP for cross-border payment rails. Stellar has built XLM around fast, low-cost settlement and asset issuance. Both stand to benefit when banks and payment companies get the legal certainty Hagerty describes.

The Trendline Defining the Breakout

The chart shows a descending trendline stretching back approximately one year. XRP has been compressing steadily beneath it. This downward trend began after the asset reached an all-time high of $3.65 in July 2025, and it now sits at the intersection of the trendline and the lower boundary of a prior consolidation range. This is the technical inflection point Pumpius is highlighting.

The consolidation range visible on the chart ran from roughly $1.30 to $1.50 for an extended period. XRP has since broken below that range. The trendline is now converging with price action near $1.10, tightening the zone in which a decisive move must occur.

Support Holding the Floor

Pumpius identifies a support zone at $1.05 to $1.10. This level sits just below the current price. It represents the structural floor that the analyst expects to hold before any upside resolution develops. The proximity of this support to the trendline contact point gives the setup its significance. After months of a gradual decline, XRP has limited room to fall before testing that zone directly.

The chart also marks two directional signals to the right of the current price, with a green arrow pointing upward near $1.30 and a red arrow pointing downward near $0.90. These indicate the two scenarios Pumpius sees as most probable, depending on how the price responds at the current level.

The oscillators at the bottom of the chart show a green buy signal appearing at the current price location. The momentum indicator is registering a low reading, consistent with oversold conditions. Pumpius uses this alongside the trendline structure to support the bullish case.

The Breakout Case

If XRP holds support at $1.05 to $1.10 and clears the descending trendline, the prior consolidation range between $1.30 and $1.50 becomes the immediate area of interest.

According to Aljarrah, the conditions that could trigger this shift include greater regulatory clarity, banks actively using XRP, and a significant increase in cross-border payment activity and tokenization volumes. “The infrastructure has already been built and tested in silence for over a decade,” Aljarrah wrote. Vet expanded on the idea, highlighting the additional utility that tokenized assets could provide. He explained that if assets were tokenized from the outset, holders could use them as collateral or integrate them into other financial applications rather than keeping them locked within traditional structures.

The tweet was accompanied by charts showing exchange volume, net inflows, and spot inflow/outflow across major trading platforms.

The data in the images says that several exchanges have recorded substantial XRP activity, with Binance handling the largest trading volume during the measured period. The moment is Swell 2026, Ripple’s flagship conference, returning to New York from October 27-29. For the first time, Swell will combine with Apex, another major Ripple gathering, into one program.

Ten Years of Swell

Swell launched in 2017. Nearly a decade later, it has grown into one of the largest fixtures on the crypto calendar. This year’s edition expects more than 1500 attendees, over 50 sessions, and over 75 speakers across 3 stages. Merging Swell with Apex marks a real expansion, giving the XRP army the best experience to celebrate a decade of hard work.

Six speakers headlined the early announcement, including Matt Damon, co-founder of Water.org; Tom Farley, Chairman and CEO of Bullish; Brad Garlinghouse, CEO of Ripple; Billy Hult, CEO of TradeWeb; Monica Long, President of Ripple; and David Schwartz, CTO Emeritus of Ripple.
