Apple Co-Founder Says Bitcoin (BTC) Is Pure Gold Mathematics

In a recent interview with Business Insider, Apple co-founder, Steve Wozniak, described the largest cryptocurrency by market cap, Bitcoin (BTC), as pure gold mathematics.

Although Wozniak praised the flagship cryptocurrency during the interview, he’s not impressed with the broader crypto industry. He condemned the number of cryptocurrencies being rolled out to the market on a daily basis, tagging the majority of the crypto projects as “rip-offs.”

The legendary electronics engineer and computer programmer said many token creators are taking advantage of celebrity endorsements to lure suitors.

Steve Wozniak noted:

“There are so many cryptocurrencies that come out now; everybody has a way to create a new one, and you have a celebrity star with it. It seems like they’re just collecting a bunch of money from people who want to invest at the very earliest stage when it’s worth pennies.”

However, the tech expert said some crypto projects could be another Apple. So, he urged investors to do diligent research about startup founders:

“They might be another Apple, and you can’t see it yet. There’s no way to calculate it in a spreadsheet.”

Also, in a recent interview with Forbes Crypto, Wozniak described Bitcoin (BTC) as the most amazing mathematical miracle.

However, back in October 2021, Apple co-founder predicted that governments will eventually ban Bitcoin. He said once everything starts to be done via crypto without passing through governments for observation and taxation, it will be outlawed.
