XRP is trading near $1.33. Crypto analyst Egrag Crypto has identified a pattern in the asset’s long-term chart that links current price action to three previous market cycle lows.
The three-month chart shows that each previous bottom shared similar characteristics, with the fourth formation now appearing to follow the same pattern.
Egrag Crypto published the analysis alongside a TradingView chart marking all four formations on X. The three confirmed bottoms span from 2014 through 2022, with each taking months or years to develop.
Three Bottoms, One Pattern
Egrag Crypto identified four characteristics shared across every confirmed XRP bottom. The price action was choppy, with “endless ups and downs.” Movement was nonlinear, with no clean reversals. Fear and uncertainty dominated the conditions. And each bottom was time-consuming, taking months or years to resolve.
According to Egrag crypto, these qualities do not inspire confidence.
#XRP – BOTTOMS ARE BUILT IN CHAOS, NOT COMFORT! 📐🔥
Look at the 3-Month Chart! 👀
3 historical bottoms. 3 different formations. Yet ALL share the SAME characteristics!
📍 CHOPPY: Endless ups and downs.
📍 NONLINEAR: No straight lines or perfect reversals.
📍 CHAOTIC: Fear,… pic.twitter.com/XXgSPRtVXe— EGRAG CRYPTO (@egragcrypto) October 16, 2026
XRP at $1.33
The analyst says XRP is currently displaying similar behavior around $1.33. The current quarterly candle sits near a long-term dotted support level visible on the chart. Egrag Crypto notes the bottom is “NOT confirmed yet.”
The chart places a “Bottom” label on the current formation, consistent with how the three previous lows are marked. But the label is a reference to the process, not a declaration of completion.
Bottoms Are a Process
Egrag Crypto’s core point is that market bottoms do not arrive as single events. “BOTTOMS ARE A PROCESS, NOT AN EVENT,” the analyst wrote. They do not announce themselves. They test conviction, exhaust patience, and create doubt before resolving.
The analyst warns that by the time consensus forms around a confirmed bottom, the price may have already moved substantially higher. The recognition typically comes late.
What Investors Should Expect
Egrag Crypto’s message to XRP holders is to treat the current conditions as consistent with historical bottom formation, not as a reason for alarm. “CHAOS IS PART OF THE FORMATION,” the analyst wrote.
The analysis does not set a price target or predict a timeline. It positions the current period as structurally similar to past accumulation phases, each of which eventually resolved with significant upside on the 3-month chart.
XRP closed the most recent quarterly candle at $1.3384, down 0.14% at the time of the chart’s publication.
