XRP is sitting at one of the most extreme technical positions in its history. Cycle researcher and analyst Cryptollica (@Cryptollica) shared a detailed analysis showing that XRP’s monthly RSI has dropped to its lowest level in 13 years, surpassing two previous RSI lows recorded in 2017 and 2020. The RSI currently reads 40.54 on the monthly chart.
What the Chart Shows
The chart covers XRP from 2013 to the present on a monthly timeframe. Three vertical orange lines mark the three RSI low points in XRP’s history. The current moment, marked as the first, sits to the right and is labeled as the “All-time low RSI in 13 years.”
Price action shows XRP compressing inside a falling wedge pattern just beneath the 2018 cycle high resistance level above $3. The long-term ascending trendline that has supported the price since the early years remains intact. Cryptollica projects a breakout from that wedge. He shows a green arrow illustrating a potential move toward $10 and beyond.
THAT’S WHY THE NEXT RUN WILL BE MASSIVE 💥

Profitability Metrics Add Context
Beyond RSI, Cryptollica points to on-chain data. The Realized Profit/Loss Ratio was pushed deep into loss territory before beginning to recover. Relative Unrealized Profit has collapsed toward levels normally associated with maximum stress. These readings appear alongside price movement holding above long-term structural support.
That combination of depressed momentum, exhausted profitability, and sustained price structure is what Cryptollica calls “the kind of environment where almost nobody wants the asset, yet the asymmetry starts becoming interesting.”
A Pattern Across Three Cycles
The significance of the current RSI reading comes from what preceded it. The 2017 RSI low preceded XRP’s historic bull run into the 2018 cycle top. The 2020 RSI low arrived before a rally that pushed XRP above $1.90 in 2021.
The current RSI low is lower than both, getting very close to oversold levels. Cryptollica’s analysis treats the sequential nature of these lows as a structural pattern repeating across cycles.
Cryptollica’s Outlook
Cryptollica expects XRP to be “one of the assets capable of surprising hardest.” He reminded the community that he tracks these extremes across Bitcoin, Ethereum, altcoins, on-chain data, and relative strength every week.
The monthly RSI recovery has begun. Cryptollica’s thesis depends on that recovery continuing as the wedge resolves to the upside. The breakout projection on Cryptollica’s chart targets a move well above the 2018 cycle high, potentially reaching into double digits.
