Analyst Says Next XRP Cycle Will Make Our Family Rich. Here’s why

Crypto analyst JD has pointed to what he believes is one of the most important technical moments for XRP in recent months, stating that the asset is approaching a level that could strengthen its long-term bullish case.

The analyst said the next weekly candle close will play a significant role in determining whether XRP confirms two major technical signals that have been developing over an extended period.

In a post on X, JD stated that XRP is nearing a critical point where both the Relative Strength Index (RSI) and price action could confirm bullish breakouts. He explained that if the RSI completes a multi-year breakout while XRP breaks above a falling wedge pattern, the combination would provide stronger support for a long-term upward trend.

Weekly Close Takes Center Stage

The chart accompanying JD’s analysis places considerable emphasis on the next weekly close. He illustrated XRP trading near the upper boundary of a long-standing falling wedge, a chart pattern that many technical analysts view as a potential bullish reversal formation once resistance is broken.

Alongside the price chart, JD highlighted a multi-year descending trendline on the RSI indicator. The chart suggests that a breakout above this trendline would reinforce the bullish interpretation if it occurs alongside a price breakout. He marked both developments as confirmations that XRP traders should monitor closely in the coming days.

JD also referenced his previous market calls, noting that he secured substantial profits below the $3.37 level in the last cycle while continuing to hold what he described as a long-term position aimed at the 2027–2028 market cycle. He expressed confidence that the upcoming cycle could produce even greater returns if the technical structure plays out as expected.

Bitcoin Condition Remains in Focus

Despite his optimistic stance, JD noted that one condition has not yet changed. He said the “pink box” scenario on his chart remains valid until Bitcoin establishes a confirmed higher high followed by a higher low. This suggests that while XRP may be nearing an important breakout point, he still considers broader market confirmation from Bitcoin necessary before dismissing alternative scenarios.

The chart also projects a potential move higher following a successful breakout from the falling wedge, with annotations questioning whether XRP is about to confirm a breakout from its multi-year trendline.

The post attracted mixed reactions from other market participants. XRP Herald agreed with the analysis, stating that confirmation of both the falling wedge and the RSI breakout would create a strong technical setup and describing the next weekly close as a key event to monitor. Another user, Richard, took the opposite view, commenting simply that XRP was “going down,” reflecting the differing opinions that continue to surround the cryptocurrency’s near-term direction.

While JD maintains that the technical structure is approaching a decisive stage, he emphasized that confirmation remains the key factor, making the upcoming weekly close one of the most closely watched events for XRP traders.
