Amazon’s Contribution Boosts SHIB Burn Rate By 90%

Although the continuous burning of SHIB tokens is yet to impact its price as expected, the Shiba Inu community remains optimistic that payday is around the corner. And the contribution of Amazon to the SHIB burn is also becoming significant, considering the latest report.

According to Shibburn.com, the platform that tracks all SHIB tokens sent to the dead wallets, about 390 million SHIB tokens were removed from the Shiba Inu circulating supply within the last two days.

Shiba Inu (SHIB) Burn Rate Surges 90%

In a recent tweet, Shibburn reported that a total of 213,067,021 SHIB tokens were destroyed within the last 48 hours. According to the report, the burn was achieved in 14 separate transactions, which send the SHIB burn rate up by 90% in the process.

Shibburn tweeted, “In the past 24 hours, there have been a total of 213,067,021 SHIB tokens burned and 14 transactions.”

Before the report above, the Shiba Inu tokens burn tracker announced that 29 transactions took a total of 176,545,974 SHIB tokens to the inferno wallets. This implies that the Shiba Inu community continues to get more enthusiastic about the burn initiative.

Amazon’s Impact on the SHIB Burn

According to the Twitter handle that represents the online shop of Travis Johnson game dev (shib_superstore), another $89 was earned in order to purchase SHIB tokens that are to be destroyed next Sunday.

It’s noteworthy that part of the money was made through the affiliate program with Amazon that SHIB Superstore joined earlier this year.

It’s also noted in a recent tweet that commissions from this program have brought $22 worth of 1,661,631 SHIB to the burn tray.

shib_superstore tweeted, “August 22! $58 on Bricks Buster, Amazon brought in $22, and the newest burn site playzone.online was able to burn $5 yesterday! Total yesterday was $89, great job everybody!”
