XRP has spent months compressing inside a well-defined technical structure on the 3-day chart. Crypto investor and speculator Gordon (@GordonGekko) posted about the asset’s setup, saying it is ready to “melt faces” and naming $3.30 as his first price target. At its current price of $1.55, that target would represent a gain of over 110%.
The Falling Wedge Explained
The chart shows a classic falling wedge pattern. Two descending trendlines converge as price makes lower highs and lower lows. The upper trendline connects a series of declining peaks. The lower trendline connects a series of declining troughs. As the two lines compress, the pattern tightens.
A falling wedge is a bullish reversal structure. It signals that selling pressure is exhausting itself. Each lower high comes with less momentum than the last. The asset loses ground more slowly as the wedge narrows. When price breaks above the upper trendline, traders interpret it as a shift in control from sellers to buyers.
The chart marks the pivot points with circled highs in red and circled lows in green. These points trace the wedge clearly. The current price sits near the structure’s lower end, close to potential support.
XRP is gearing up to MELT FACES.

The $3.30 Target
Gordon identifies $3.30 as the first target on a bullish resolution. That level carries significance beyond the technical setup. XRP last traded near $3 on October 10, 2025. A move to $3.30 would reclaim that territory and push the asset back above a level it has not sustained since late 2025.
XRP’s all-time high is 3.65, and a move significantly to $3.30 would close the gap. It would also position XRP within reach of that record. Gordon’s $3.30 call could mark the early phase of a larger move if momentum holds after the breakout.
Where XRP Stands
The RSI indicator at the bottom of the chart has been trending higher in recent weeks. It now approaches the upper range visible across the chart. That momentum shift aligns with the price action tightening inside the wedge.

XRP trades at $1.55 at the time of publication. The 3-day chart is the timeframe in focus. Shorter-term noise exists, but the structure Gordon highlights spans several months and carries weight on longer-term timeframes. A confirmed breakout above the upper trendline would be the signal traders are watching for.
