Veteran commodity and crypto trader Peter Brandt has posted another trending XRP chart. This time, he added a coffee mug to the technical setup and marked $1.6572 as a key level above the current price.
The unusual image references the classic cup-and-handle pattern, although Brandt did not explicitly identify the formation in his post. The chart adds another technical observation to a series of XRP posts Brandt has published over the past two weeks.
Brandt Marks $1.6572 on XRP Chart
Brandt’s recent chart tracks XRP against the U.S. dollar on the daily timeframe. The chart shows XRP trading near $1.5230 when Brandt published the image, while recent price action continues to consolidate around $1.50.
Brandt marks $1.6572 with a horizontal line above the current price. XRP previously approached that region during its September advance before pulling back and entering a period of sideways trading.
The coffee mug sits over the middle section of the chart. Brandt didn’t explain the image, but the placement could reference a cup-and-handle pattern. Technical analysts use that pattern to describe a rounded consolidation, followed by a smaller pullback that can precede a move higher.
The XRP chart shows a prolonged rounded structure before the September advance, followed by consolidation near $1.50. That structure could explain why Brandt chose a coffee mug for the latest post. However, Brandt has not confirmed that he intended the image as a cup-and-handle reference.

Brandt Continues His XRP Chart Posts
Brandt has now published his third XRP chart in roughly two weeks.
On September 22, Brandt shared a monthly XRP/USD chart that pointed to an eventual $5.40 advance. He also warned readers that a chart does not represent a trade and that an X post does not constitute proof.
Five days later, Brandt shared another XRP chart that showed a possible inverse head-and-shoulders formation. XRP traded around $1.52 at the time, and Brandt said charts alone had always given him enough reason to make a bet.
His latest post continues that recent focus on XRP’s technical structure. Rather than provide a lengthy written analysis, Brandt uses the chart itself to show the price action and the $1.6572 level he has marked.
Brandt’s Earlier XRP Position
Brandt’s recent technical analysis contrasts with his earlier criticism of XRP. He called XRP a scam in 2020 but retracted it in 2021. He later criticized XRP investors for what he considered excessive bias and questioned aspects of XRP’s fundamentals.

His recent posts have focused more directly on price charts and technical formations. His September chart carried a $5.40 long-term target, while his second chart presented a possible inverse head-and-shoulders setup.
The recent chart shows another possible technical reference through the coffee mug. If Brandt intended the image to represent a cup-and-handle formation, the $1.6572 level could become an important area for traders watching the setup. Brandt, however, has not explicitly confirmed that interpretation.
For now, XRP remains near $1.52 and below the $1.6572 level on Brandt’s chart. The next move toward or away from that level will determine whether the technical structure develops further.
