XRP Whales Are Doing Something Unusual On Binance. Here’s the Latest

Crypto analyst Xaif Crypto has pointed to a notable shift in XRP movement on Binance, suggesting on X that large holders are increasingly moving their tokens away from the exchange.

The analyst highlighted new on-chain data showing that wallets transferring more than one million XRP now account for the majority of Binance’s daily XRP outflows. He believes this trend could have implications for the asset’s available exchange supply.

The chart shared alongside the post, sourced from CryptoQuant, tracks Binance’s daily XRP outflow by value share over the past year. According to the data, transfers exceeding one million XRP currently represent 55.3% of all XRP leaving the exchange.

Outflows between 100,000 and one million XRP account for 24.5%, while transfers ranging from 10,000 to 100,000 XRP make up 14.7%. Wallets moving fewer than 10,000 XRP represent just 5.3% of total outflows.

Xaif Crypto interpreted these figures as evidence that the largest market participants are withdrawing substantial amounts of XRP from Binance rather than keeping them on the exchange.

Exchange Supply Continues to Decline

Beyond the increase in whale withdrawals, Xaif Crypto also highlighted Binance’s XRP exchange supply ratio, stating that it has already fallen to 0.03. According to the analyst, the declining supply on the exchange means fewer coins are readily accessible for selling.

He suggested that lower exchange balances could reduce immediate selling pressure if demand remains steady or increases. Based on this observation, Xaif Crypto concluded that XRP appears to be entering a period of price compression, adding that major holders may be positioning themselves before a potential market move.

The chart attached to the post also shows XRP’s price movement alongside the changing Binance outflows. While price fluctuations continued throughout the period covered by the data, transfers from wallets holding more than one million XRP consistently represented the largest share of coins leaving the exchange.

Community Reacts to the On-Chain Data

The analysis attracted reactions from several members of the XRP community who shared similar interpretations of the data.

XRP GURU stated that whale withdrawals from Binance represent the clearest indication of a potential supply squeeze, emphasizing that more than 55% of exchange outflows now come from large holders. The commentator also noted that the reported 0.03 exchange supply ratio suggests selling pressure is continuing to decline.

Crypto Khaleesi also commented on the data, summarizing the trend by stating that Binance’s XRP supply is steadily draining.

Although the data highlights a growing share of large XRP withdrawals from Binance, it does not by itself confirm the future direction of XRP’s price. However, Xaif Crypto maintains that the increasing dominance of whale outflows and the continued decline in exchange-held supply are developments that investors should monitor closely as market conditions evolve.
