Top Trader Has a Message for XRP Holders

Recent movements in the XRP market have led crypto enthusiast Anna to highlight what she believes is a significant difference between institutional and retail investor behavior.

While XRP fell to $1.08 during its latest decline, Anna said institutional investors continued buying the asset even as many retail traders sold their holdings amid growing market uncertainty.

Anna described $1.08 as XRP’s lowest price in 19 months. During the same period, she said XRP investment products attracted $132 million in institutional inflows, the largest amount recorded among all altcoins. In her view, the inflows demonstrated that major investors were increasing their positions while many smaller investors chose to exit the market.

Anna said the recent activity reflects a contrast between what she called “smart money” and investors reacting to fear. She argued that many people who often encourage buying during market dips ended up selling XRP as it traded between $1.00 and $1.20, as institutional investors with significant capital moved in the opposite direction by accumulating the asset.

XRP Shows Signs of Recovery as Regulatory Developments Continue

Anna also pointed to XRP’s subsequent rebound, noting that the cryptocurrency recovered to around $1.15 after reaching its recent low. She said the price movement could indicate that a recovery from the $1.08 level is already underway, although she did not claim that a larger uptrend has been confirmed.

Beyond price action, she explained that several regulatory developments could support investor confidence. Anna highlighted continued progress surrounding the CLARITY Act, saying the legislation is helping create a cleaner regulatory environment for the digital asset industry.

She also noted that the market is awaiting a decision on a spot XRP exchange-traded fund, an event that many investors believe could influence institutional participation if approved.

In addition, Anna cited recent comments from Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse, who said the company is moving closer to achieving important regulatory milestones. She suggested that these developments, combined with institutional buying activity, present a different picture from the one reflected in recent market sentiment.

Long-Term Outlook Remains Anna’s Focus

Looking ahead, Anna maintained that investors who sell XRP between $1.00 and $1.20 could eventually regret that decision if the asset performs strongly over the coming months. She also stated that the market is currently reacting more to fear than to improving fundamentals, while institutional investors appear to be positioning themselves for future opportunities.

She concluded by questioning whether the recent inflows and price action represent the accumulation phase before XRP’s next major rally. While she acknowledged that the answer remains uncertain, Anna believes institutional activity during the recent decline offers an important signal that many market participants may have overlooked.
