4.5 Million People Gain Access to Shiba Inu (SHIB) via London-based Payment Firm, Wirex: Details

Wirex, a worldwide digital payment platform, is expanding its ecosystem, to give its teeming users exposure to various crypto assets.

According to the report, Wirex’s 4.5 million users now have access to the second-largest meme token, Shiba Inu (SHIB), and five other digital currencies, including Terra (LUNA), Cosmos (ATOM), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Orchid Protocol (OXT), and Enjin Coin (ENJ).

With the latest development, teeming users of the payments platform can now receive, send, store, and exchange SHIB tokens across its app, wallet, and payment platforms.

About Wirex

Wirex, a London-based digital payment platform, was created in 2014 by Pavel Matveev and Dmitry Lazarichev. The payment firm reportedly created the world’s first crypto-enabled payment card, which gives users the ability to spend cryptocurrency and traditional currencies in real life.

The payment platform has 4.5 million users in 130 countries. It allows users to seamlessly store, buy, and exchange multiple currencies.

Shiba Inu (SHIB) Keeps Expanding

Shiba Inu (SHIB) has continued to gain much-needed exposure among exchanges and payment platforms.

Recently, the crypto payment service provider, BitPay, announced that Australian energy company, 1st Energy, now accepts all the available crypto on its platform, including Shiba Inu (SHIB).

Also, the CEO of AMC Theater, Adam Aaron, announced in late February that his firm will start supporting the SHIB token by 19th March 2022 via its partnership with BitPay.

Adam Aron wrote, “This might rev up the Cryptocurrency fans amongst you. AMC IT says that BitPay will be live for AMC online payments on our website by March 19, and live on our mobile apps by April 16. Possibly a few days earlier. BitPay, and therefore soon AMC, accepts Dogecoin and Shiba Inu.”

Between January and now, the Shiba Inu team has sealed a number of notable partnerships to make the cryptocurrency and its ecosystem global.
