Dashawn Maurice Robertson, known professionally as Lil Loaded, the most famous American songwriter and rapper died in his 20s. The Texas rapper, Loaded, in 2019 won the won viral success. However, the rapper was facing a manslaughter charge in a fatal shooting last year. Notably, as per the officials, Lil Loaded died Monday.
Ashkan Mehryari, the rapper’s attorney, clarified that the rapper committed suicide. An official with the Dallas County medical examiner’s office stated the cause and manner of death had not yet been determined. Notably, the rapper before committing suicide wrote a short ominous, which read in part. He wrote, “Dear most high, please forgive me for my shortcomings and all of the times I’ve fell short of making you proud.” Further, he stated, “I ask for entrance into your kingdom thru all of my mistakes. I know you love all your children, and I’m ready for my heart and soul to join you.”
The song of the rapper released in 2019, “6locc 6a6y” racked up more than 28 million views. Thus, he was awarded a gold certification last week by the Recording Industry Association of America. Stanley Gabart, whose production company worked with Robertson’s record label, Epic, told The Dallas Morning News that his death was a shock. He said, “This kid was on a great path. He was struggling with some things we wish we would’ve known about.”
Rapper Lil Loaded was basically accused of murdering his best friend, Khalil Walker. Lil shot Khalil to death at a home Southwest of downtown Dallas. When officers arrived, they were told that Walker, 18, had been taken to a hospital. Robertson was indicted this year on the less serious charge of manslaughter, accused of having “recklessly” caused Walker’s death, the documents say.
Last month, prosecutors asked for Robertson’s bond to be revoked after he tested positive for marijuana, a violation of the terms of his pretrial release.
