According to a recent report, Ethereum whales that are holding a whopping sum of Shiba Inu (SHIB) are hungry for more, as they keep accumulating the hottest meme token on a daily basis.
Based on the data provided by WhaleStats, the tracker of 5000 biggest Ethereum whales, the 15th largest ETH whale, which currently holds over 4 trillion SHIB tokens, has purchased another 50,736,574,302 SHIB worth $1,106,564 at current prices.

Data from Etherscan shows that the transfer played out a few hours ago in a single transaction.

A closer look into the Ethereum whale’s wallet revealed that the SHIB is the 6th biggest position in his portfolio of Ethereum-based tokens by dollar value.
Including the recent transaction, the anonymous ETH whale currently holds 4.4 trillion SHIB worth relatively $95.5 million at current prices. Also, the whale’s average holding price per SHIB appears to be $0.0000217.

Also, Shiba Inu (SHIB) became the fourth most purchased token by the 2000 biggest Ethereum whales on 14th March 2022. The cryptocurrency is also the fifth most-purchased token by the top 100 ETH whales within the same period.
According to the data provided by WhaleStats, each top 100 ETH whales have accumulated 207,128,644 SHIB worth about $4,600 at current prices.

Going by the data provided by CoinGecko, SHIB’s price is -28.5% down from the last 30 days, and Ethereum Whales seem to be seizing the opportunity to buy more when the price is still low.
At the time of writing, SHIB is trading at $0.00002203, with a relatively 3% price uptrend in the last 24 hours, according to CoinMarketCap.
